It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Jerome "Jerry" Miller of Marystown (formerly of Rushoon) announces his passing at the age of 62.
He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth (Betty); his sons, Curtis (Angela) and Neil; and his grandson Christian, whom he adored
Also left to mourn are his sisters, Mary (Joe) Whiffen of Goobies, Loretta (Aloysius) Vaters of Marystown; brother, John (Gertie) of Rushoon; sisters-in-law, Alice, Shirley, and Marg Miller, Gloria Keating (Cecil Murphy), Loretta Senior of Red Harbour, and Carrie (Harry) Upshall of Baine Harbour; brothers-in-law, John Keating, Cecil Keating (Maxine) of Baine Harbour, and Reg Keating (Sheila) of Baine Harbour; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Jerry is predeceased by his parents, Jerome and Emma Miller; sister, Veronica Penney; brothers, Cyril, Gordon, Wayne, and Alphonsus; parents-in-law, Mary and John Keating; and brother-in-law, Thomas Keating.
The Miller Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Marystown on Wednesday, November 3rd and Thursday, November 4th from 10am – 12pm, 2-4pm, and 7-9pm.
Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, alert level 3, this will be a walk through visitation with one household bubble visiting at a time. When entering the funeral home you will be required to show proof of vaccination and photo ID. Everyone is asked to sign the contact tracing sheet upon entering the building and masks are required.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Friday, November 5th at 10am.
Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marystown.
