Eli George Lace
October 2, 1940 ~ September 22, 2022

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Eli Lace of Grand Bank announces his passing. Eli passed suddenly away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Thursday, Sept 22. 2022 at the age of 81.

Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of treasured memories, sons, Norman (Elizabeth) and Sheldon (Trudy); grandchildren, Brandon (Charlotte), Christian, Ava and Sophia; sisters, Greta Clarke and Hazel Caines; brother Calvin Lace; sister-in-laws, Joyce (Cec) Sturge, Wanda (Vincent) Boisvert, Masie (John) Wesley. Eli will be missed by a large circle of nieces, nephews and his many friends.

Eli is predeceased by his wife, Flora; mother, Winnifred and father, Norman Lace; brother-in-laws Roland Caines, John Clarke; sister-in-laws Carol Lace, Ruby Hanlon, and Dana Pitcher.

The Lace Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Grand Bank on Saturday, Sept 24, 2022, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

Funeral Service will be at the St. Albans Anglican Church, Grand Bank on Sunday, Sept 25, 2022, at 2:00 pm, interment to follow at the St. Albans Anglican Cemetery, Grand Bank.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Eli’s memory can be made to the St. Albans Anglican Church, Grand Bank.
